| Objetivou-se com este trabalho avaliar os efeitos da atividade residual da mistura comercial do herbicida Only® (imazethapyr+imazapic) sobre o arroz convencional, cultivar IRGA 417, em solo cultivado em uma e três safras sequenciais de arroz Clearfield® (CL). Quatro experimentos foram conduzidos no município de Capão do Leão, RS, em delineamento de blocos ao acaso, com quatro e oito repetições, respectivamente para dois experimentos de campo (EC1 e EC3), e dois em casa de vegetação (CV1 e CV3). | Chronic idiopathic urticaria (CIU) is a dermatological syndrome, characterized by raised erythematous skin lesions, that affects 20% of the general population and has been associated with autoimmunity. However, some reports have also suggested a close relationship between CIU and Helicobacter pylori infection, which is endemic in developing countries and associated with chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, and gastric carcinoma. | The objective of this work was to investigate the injuries caused to the photosynthetic apparatus of three types of rice exposed to application of imidazolinone group herbicides. Two experiments were conducted using herbicides Imazethapyr+imazapic and Imazapyr+imazapic, in a split-plot experimental design, and a 3 x 3 factorial, with six replications. | Neste trabalho, determinou-se o efeito residual do herbicida Only® (imazethapyr+imazapic) sobre plantas de milho, pepino, rabanete e tomate, semeadas em solo no qual o herbicida foi aplicado há 1.100 dias. O estudo foi realizado em casa de vegetação, com o delineamento experimental de casualização por bloco, com quatro repetições por tratamento. Os tratamentos avaliados foram o residual do herbicida Only® aplicado sob as plantas de arroz CL na safra 2006/2007, nas doses de 0, 100, 150 e 200 g ha-1 do produto comercial, acrescido de 0,5% do adjuvante Dash®. | ABSTRACT The present work had the objective of detecting the occurrence of Equine Piroplasmosis in horses housed in the 3rd Guards Cavalry Regiment (GCR) - Brazilian Army (BA) ˗ Porto Alegre, RS-Brazil, as well as to demonstrate the proactivity of PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) technique, aiming at the judicious use of the resources involved in the training and employment of Equines in the Brazilian Army. | Hematological and biochemical parameters, including plasma electrolytes and thyroid hormones, were determined in 73 clinically healthy Churra-da-Terra-Quente ewes, a typical breed from the northeast of Portugal. The hemogram values were: erythrocytes 9.8±1.5×10(12)/L; haemoglobin 118.1±19.1g/L; haematocrit 40.8±5.9%; leukocytes 5.7±1.8×10(9)/L; and platelets 544.3±177.2×10(9)/L.
